To explain

In whispers

In smoke

In vespers

You tried

To figure

To answer

With terror

With pain

With frustration

You faltered

I panicked

I questioned

The meaning

The ending

The intensity

We fell

A fervor

A knot

Of breasts

And thighs

And hearts

You left

To alleviate

To terminate

In terror

In pain

In frustration

I struggle

To eat

To breathe

In whispers

In smoke

In vespers
